What Paint Correction Covers
Paint correction removes the swirl marks, light scratches, water spots, and oxidation sitting in your clear coat, using a machine polish in one or more stages. We never sand the panel down or repaint it. We refine the finish you already have until it reflects clean and deep.
Before we polish, we pull bonded grime off the paint with a clay bar, so the surface is truly clean. We also bring cloudy headlights back to clear and can add a ceramic coating that guards the fresh finish against Gulf-coast sun for months.
- Single and multi-stage paint polishing
- Swirl, scratch, and oxidation removal
- Clay bar paint decontamination treatment
- Headlight restoration and protection film
- Ceramic coating for lasting protection

Why Detail Your Vehicle With Us
We correct paint the honest way, with polish and patience, not paint.
No Repaint, No Filler
We bring back the paint you already have, so your factory finish and clear coat stay original.
Honest Correction Levels
We tell you straight what level of correction your paint needs, so you never overpay.
Real Machine Polishing
We use dual-action and rotary polishers with the right pads and compounds, not a quick hand wax.
Built for Gulf Sun
Ceramic coating and headlight film hold up to the hard Texas sun far better than wax alone.
What We Work With
The pads, compounds, and coatings matter as much as the hand that runs them.
Cutting Compound
A polish that levels swirls and scratches out of the clear coat without thinning it.
Clay Bar
A soft bar that lifts bonded grime the wash leaves behind, so polish bites clean.
Ceramic Coating
A hard, clear layer that guards the paint from sun, water spots, and light marring.
Headlight Kit
Sanding and sealing that clears yellowed headlights and holds off the haze with film.
Paint Looking Dull?
Bring it by for an honest look, and we will tell you what correction your finish needs.
How a Correction Goes
Six steps to a clean, deep finish.
Paint Inspection
We read the paint under bright light to see the swirls, scratches, and depth left.
Wash and Decontaminate
We wash the vehicle and pull bonded grime with a clay bar before any polishing.
Machine Polish
We level the defects with a machine polish in as many stages as the paint needs.
Refine the Finish
We follow with a finer pass that removes any haze and brings up the gloss.
Seal and Protect
We seal the fresh finish with a coating or ceramic layer that guards the shine.
Final Detail
We detail the glass, trim, and wheels, then hand back a vehicle that looks new.

Lefty's did a beyond phenomenal job with my truck!... I wish I could leave more than five stars for this review! My truck looks better than it did when I bought it!
DJ is Amazing!!! We were having terrible trouble with our accessible bus and could not get anyone to fix it. DJ came in and, within an hour, had it running! He also fixed one of the accessible doors. Our Work, Backed
We stand behind every correction and coating we do. If a ceramic layer we applied fails early or a corrected panel is not right, you bring it back and we make it good, for as long as you own the vehicle.
Common Detailing and Correction Questions
A single-stage correction runs about $250 to $400, while multi-stage work with deeper defects runs $500 to $800 or more. Headlight restoration is $75 to $150 a pair, and a standalone clay bar treatment is $100 to $200. We quote after we see the paint.
Headlights yellow because the sun's UV breaks down the clear plastic coating on the lens over time. Texas sun speeds it up. Our headlight restoration sands off the damaged layer and reseals the lens, and an added film keeps the haze from coming back as fast.
A clay bar glides over the paint and pulls out bonded grime that washing leaves behind, like industrial fallout, tree sap, and brake dust. If your paint feels rough after a wash, it needs it. We clay before any polish so the correction bites into clean paint.
A single-stage polish on a clean vehicle takes most of a day. Multi-stage correction on badly swirled paint can run one to two days, since each stage is worked panel by panel. Add a ceramic coating and we hold the vehicle a little longer to let it cure.
A wash cleans the surface. Detailing goes deeper, cleaning and dressing the paint, wheels, trim, and interior. Correction is a machine polish that removes swirls and scratches from the clear coat, not just hides them like a wax.
Headlight film is built to take UV, so it holds up well through Texas summers. After we restore the lens to clear, the film shields it from the sun that caused the yellowing in the first place. It buys years before the haze starts to return.
