What We Do

What Frame Straightening Covers

Frame straightening pulls a bent frame or unibody back to the factory's own measurements. We anchor the vehicle on our rack, take computerized measurements, and use hydraulic pulls to correct the structure. For modern unibody vehicles, we section, weld, and replace panels to restore full strength.

When we finish, we verify the repair with digital measurements against factory tolerances, so the structure is sound and the vehicle tracks straight. Frame work comes after a collision, so we handle the insurance claim, document the structural repair, and work with your adjuster.

What Frame Straightening Covers
The Lefty's Advantage

Why Trust Us With the Frame

Structural work is about safety, so we measure everything and guess at nothing.

01

Measured, Not Guessed

We use computerized measuring and laser alignment to bring the frame back to factory specs, not close enough.

02

Built for Heavy Pulls

Our hydraulic equipment handles frame pulls on trucks, SUVs, and body-on-frame vehicles, not just small cars.

03

Verified Structural Integrity

Every repair ends with digital measurements confirming the structure meets manufacturer tolerances before the vehicle leaves.

04

Insurance Work Handled

We handle the insurance claim for collision-related frame damage, from the estimate through the adjuster.

Parts & Finish

The Equipment We Use

Straightening a frame right takes measuring gear you can trust and the power to move steel.

Frame Rack

A heavy anchoring rack that holds the vehicle steady while we pull the frame.

Computer Measuring

A digital system that reads the frame against factory data down to the millimeter.

Hydraulic Pulls

Hydraulic towers that apply steady force to draw bent steel back into line.

Welding Gear

Structural welders for unibody sectioning and panel work that meets factory safety standards.

Frame Bent in a Crash?

Bring it in for a measured inspection, and we will handle the repair and the insurance claim.

04

Weld and Section

For unibody damage, we section, weld, and replace panels to restore full strength.

DJ is Amazing!!! We were having terrible trouble with our accessible bus and could not get anyone to fix it. DJ came in and, within an hour, had it running! He also fixed one of the accessible doors. Very honest and trustworthy. Super nice! As a woman, I felt safe and heard. Reasonably priced! Highly Recommended!!!

Questions

Common Frame Repair Questions

Frame repair runs from about $600 for a minor bend to $3,000 or more for heavy structural damage with panel replacement. The severity and your vehicle type drive the price, and most frame work runs through a collision claim. We measure first and give you a written estimate.

Signs of frame damage include uneven gaps between panels, a vehicle that pulls to one side, tires wearing unevenly, or doors that no longer close right. After any hard collision, the safest move is a measured inspection. We put it on the rack and check the structure against factory data.

Driving with a bent frame is risky. It throws off your alignment, wears tires and suspension, and can keep airbags and crumple zones from working in another crash. If you suspect frame damage, have it measured before you drive far. We can inspect it and tell you straight.

Older trucks and SUVs ride on a separate steel frame, which we pull straight with hydraulic equipment. Most modern cars use a unibody, where the body itself is the structure, so unibody repair means sectioning and welding panels back to spec. We handle both on the same rack.

A minor frame pull can be done in a couple of days. Heavier structural work with sectioning, welding, and panel replacement can run one to two weeks, depending on parts and insurance approval. You get a clear timeline once we measure the damage and write the estimate.

Most collision policies cover frame and structural repair, and we work with every major insurer. We document the damage, send measurements and photos to your adjuster, and handle supplements if we find more once the vehicle is on the rack. You choose the shop, not the insurer.
